Outdoor Learning Training for Primary Teachers

Train with us

Our teaching experience makes our outdoor learning training for primary teachers unique because we understand your main aims in teaching and combine them with the outdoors.

Everything we do focuses on combining the National Curriculum with your typical outdoor school environment to help you take everyday lessons outdoors. No forest, tools or fire required; think playgrounds, school fields, small grass spaces, playground chalk, nature and everyday classroom resources!

Our first-hand experience of taking classes of primary children outdoors for their learning means we can support you with all the practicalities of everyday school life, recognise the importance of teacher wellbeing and minimising workload, and understand the need to make the most of the existing resources and space you have available.

Our backgrounds in teaching and current work with schools across the UK means we have a deeper understanding of what is important to teachers and school leaders than other outdoor learning companies. You can rest assured that our training will support effective teaching and learning... just outdoors instead of in your classrooms!

In school training for Primary Teachers

One of the benefits of having us deliver our training on your school grounds is having a fresh set of eyes to show you how to utilise the space you already have! All of our sessions are PowerPoint-free and fully practical, it’s only through experiencing outdoor learning for themselves that your staff can truly grow to appreciate its value.

Each of our training sessions offers flexibility so you can choose to complete full inset days or break them down into half inset days. We always endeavour to do our best to fit your availability!

Choosing which outdoor learning training is right for your school

Each session focuses on a different aspect of preparing your team for taking everyday lessons outdoors. The name of each session reflects the outcome of the training. You are welcome to work through the pathway of training sessions to fully prepare your staff team for curriculum outdoor learning or choose an individual session to suit your needs. Read on below to discover which outdoor learning training is right for your school.

Did you know we also run training courses?

Our courses are designed for individual teachers to attend and align closely with the content of our 'Inspire' session. If whole staff team training is a challenge to fit in for your school this year, consider having staff attend a course instead. They will leave with everything they need to share the training with their team once back in school.
