The ‘Website’ covers all use of www.alfrescolearning.co.uk including, but not limited to, the placing of orders and memberships. By using the Website you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of use, which govern the relationship between you and Alfresco Learning.
Using this Website after changes have been made to the Terms and Conditions constitutes as your acceptance of the changes made. If you do not agree to abide by these or any new Terms and Conditions, do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the service or this website. Checking for changes to the Terms and Conditions is your responsibility and should be done by regularly checking this page.
1.1 The Alfresco Hub is an online resource provider of curriculum linked outdoor lesson plans, activity packs & resources across the primary age phase. All our Resources are shared with Members through the Website.
1.2 We reserve the right to change pricing and or availability in respect of any of the services in this clause for any reason and without notice.
1.3 Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders are not responsible for non-delivery or technical limitations of the end user for any reason in respect of any of the services in this clause. You are advised to contact your own IT services for support in the first instance and if problems persist contact us at info@alfrescolearning.co.uk
2.1 To create an Account you will be required to register and provide information about yourself. All information you provide must be accurate, current and complete about Yourself as prompted by the Website when creating the account. It is your responsibility to maintain and update this Registration Data information by logging in and adding any new information into the ‘My Account’ section of the Website.We shall not be liable for any loss suffered by Your non-compliance with this provision.
2.2 All collected information will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2.3 Members are responsible for the creation and protection of their own passwords and Alfresco Learning will provide you with an account to access The Alfresco Hub. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your password or Account. You agree to (a) immediately notify Alfresco Learning of any unauthorised use of your password or Account and any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that You exit from Your account at the end of each session. Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Your failure to comply with this obligation.
2.4 You are responsible for the privacy of your login information. Your Account is strictly for your own personal use. You may not share your login details or download content to share with anyone else. Alfresco Learning does not allow volume printing arrangements, unless specifically agreed in writing (these will be individually negotiated).
2.5 All Accounts are to comply with our terms of acceptable use and will be monitored. Each Account must only download content for their own individual use.
2.6 An Individual Membership defines a single person taking out an Account to The Alfresco Hub for their individual use. This account is strictly for your own personal use, you may not share your login, or download Resources to share. Individual Memberships are available in the form of 3 monthly and annual Plans. Your account will be monitored for appropriate individual use to reflect the length of your chosen Plan. Any Individual Membership exceeding acceptable use limits will be automatically locked for 8 days and Alfresco Learning will be notified. Accounts that repeatedly exceed acceptable use and lock their account on multiple occasions will be contacted by Alfresco Learning. In this circumstance, a decision to permanently suspend an Individual Membership can be made at Alfresco Learning’s discretion, with no refund due.
2.7 A School Membership defines an account with several Staff Accounts linked together, one of which will be the Account Holder. The Account Holder is responsible for managing the School Membership and all Staff Accounts. A School Membership gives rights for content from The Alfresco Hub to be used across the school. However, login details for all Accounts must not be shared and each Account is to only download content for their own individual use.
2.8 A School Membership is available in the form of One Form Entry (7 accounts), Two Form Entry (14 accounts) and Three Form Entry (30 accounts). Schools should choose the plan to reflect the number of staff members that will be using content from The Alfresco Hub with their classes.
2.9 Individual Memberships and School Memberships paid for via card payment will automatically be renewed. If you wish to cancel your membership you can do so by logging into the Hub, selecting ‘My Account’ and the ‘Plan’ tab. Memberships can be cancelled at any time up until the renewal date. For School Memberships the Account Holder must cancel the Membership. For School Memberships paid for via invoice, the Membership will automatically expire after 12 months unless you contact us at info@alfrescolearning.co.uk stating you wish to continue.
2.10 If your renewal date has passed and your Membership has auto-renewed you can cancel your Membership for up to 14 days afterwards, providing zero downloads have been made. Email info@alfrescolearning.co.uk to do so.
3.1 You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders and its affiliates harmless from and against any and all liability, losses, costs, claims and expenses incurred directly or indirectly (including reasonable legal fees) incurred in connection with or arising out of your violation of these Terms and Conditions, any applicable law or regulation or the rights of any third parties related to the use of the Content, our Website, Service and tools. This indemnity includes both any liability to third parties, and other costs and losses incurred by Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders.
4.1 The Website and Resources within The Alfresco Hub are designed to be used for the climate and environments typically found in the United Kingdom. If you choose to use our lesson plans outside of the UK, you do so at your own risk.
4.2 The Website and Resources within The Alfresco Hub are designed to be compliant with the applicable laws and regulations of England and Wales. If you are resident in a country outside of the United Kingdom, you use the Website at your own risk.
5.1 Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
5.2 You agree that Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
6.1 You agree that Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders, in its sole discretion and without liability to you or any third party, may suspend or terminate, with or without notice, the Website and/or the Service or any part of it or any of your passwords or Accounts (or any part(s) thereof or related files and information) within the Service, and may remove and discard any Content within the Service, for any reason, if Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms and Conditions.
6.2 Where there is a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the rights described in this paragraph are not Alfresco Learning’s only remedy and Alfresco Learning and its Co-Founders may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate in connection with such breach.
