Job description

Our Planning Designer uses their experience of teaching the National Curriculum and combines their design skills, to create eye-catching lesson plan designs with resources included, making them easy for teachers to implement and accessible to all.

This will involve:
‍
- Taking lesson plans written by the Alfresco Learning team, formatting them using Alfresco Learning templates and designing resources to reflect our branding to go alongside them.

What we would LOVE to see from you in the role . . .

• A qualified Primary Teacher with experience of delivering the National Curriculum for England.
• Efficiency and organisation - Formatting the planning involves prioritising your work to ensure deadlines for new releases are met, while also making time to reformat existing content to ensure consistency for our customers.
• An eye for design - Essential for creating high-quality, lesson plans and resources that give off the ‘Alfresco Learning’ feel!
• Initiative - Training around our planning creations will be provided, but ultimately we are looking for this person to complete their work with minimal input.
• An understanding of a freelance role - Hours will always be negotiated but the person in this role will need to understand that the hours, month to month, will change to move with the flow of the company.

• And the desire to be a part of something bigger - Our Planning Designer will be an essential part of our Planning Hub team! Our members deserve beautiful planning products, that help them prepare their outdoor lessons with efficiency, so we want to make sure that our latest team member understands this. We are looking for someone who can take our written content and resource lists and transform them into resources teachers love to use! Our Hub has 100’s of members and we have plans to grow it even further to help disrupt the status quo of indoor teaching.
